Position Overview

CNC programmer who is a TEAM PLAYER who desires to work in an ever changing, high-tech environment where serving customers and creating customer loyalty is our primary focus. This is a key position for our future growth.

 

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Program CNC Milling machines (Makino a61nx) for the production of injection molds and production machining.

  • Conduct machining experiments in order to advance the organization’s capabilities.

  • Backup to the Machine Setup Technician.

 

 

Characteristics required for success

  • Proficiency in Mastercam

  • Ability to quickly learn and use other CAM software packages

  • Open minded, flexible and adaptable

  • Team player – works well with others

  • Self-starter

  • Organized and methodical – able to perform machining experiments in order to better understand and expand the organizations machining capabilities.

  • Willingness to learn new ways of performing tasks

  • Ability to discern the best process among several process options.

 

 

Requirements (education, certificates, licenses and experience)

  • Verifiable training and/or experience.

  • Verifiable competency in Mastercam.

  • 3D Design experience a plus.

  • Team player who understands satisfying internal customers and creating external customer loyalty.
